Apply for Funding

HOW IS FUNDING ALLOCATED AND PAID?

The total pool of funds available will be allocated to one project or divided among multiple projects at the discretion of the judging panel. Payment of funding will also be at the discretion of the panel taking into account the needs of the applicant project and project timelines. The money has to be paid to the organisation receiving the funding directly. Timing of this payment can be discussed but should it be before the project commences then the group will need to provide evidence of how the money is spent throughout the project.

FUNDING CRITERIA

To be eligible for a grant from The Fund, applications must meet the following criteria:

  • All allocated funds must be used/claimed within 12months of the awarding date unless agreed prior.
  • The project shouldn't require ongoing contributions from the Fund for it to continue long-term.

  • Applicant must be able to provide six-monthly written updates on the project's progress.
